E-commerce websites should declare the expiry dates and maximum retail prices of packaged consumer products online, the Ministry of Consumer Affairs has told in its notification to the firms. The rule which will come into effect from January 1, 2018, also requires the e-commerce companies to display the country of origin on their online product pages.
