Premium motorcycles above 350 cc are reportedly set to witness a rise in the total tax incidence under the upcoming Goods and Services Tax. According to reports, under GST, the motorcycles with engine capacity of 350cc or above will attract 31% tax, which is 3% higher than the cess for low-end motorcycles and mopeds. Notably, the rise is expected to have a serious consumer impact.
