The Chennai Silks fire accident not only caused property loss, but it also consumed a massive amount of water to combat the blaze. According to Minister Udayakumar’s report, 85 water tankers had to be deployed to fight the flames. According to certain estimates, more than 5,10,000 litres of water has been used to douse the fire.
