Former Union Minister Dayanidhi Maran and his brother Kalanidhi Maran on Tuesday appeared in front of a CBI court to receive copies of Chargesheet filed against them in the illegal telephone lines case. Notably, the CBI on December 9, 2016, filed a charge sheet against the Sun media conglomerate chairman and his brother for allegedly using 764 high-speed data lines at Dayanidhi Maran's residence for commercial use of Sun TV network. Meanwhile, CBI special Jawahar posted the matter to July 28 for framing of charges.
