Man killed for objecting public urination

Ravinder, a 32-year-old rickshaw driver, was reportedly beaten to death for asking youths to not urinate in public spaces. According to reports, Ravinder was asking some youngsters to not urinate on the roadside in north Delhi’s GTB Nagar on Saturday evening. He was then allegedly beaten to death with iron knuckles and stones wrapped in towels. Union Minister for Urban poverty alleviation, Venkaiah Naidu tweeted, “He was promoting Swachh Bharat. I spoke to the police commissioner and asked him to take the strongest action possible against the culprits.”
