According to reports, a 25-year-old Bangladeshi man allegedly committed suicide after India's loss to Pakistan in the ICC Champions Trophy final on Sunday. Reportedly, the victim Bidyut, who was a die-hard fan of the Indian cricket team jumped in front of a train and succumbed to injuries on the spot. Notably, India had reached the final by comprehensively defeating Bangladesh in what was Bangladesh's maiden semifinal appearance at an ICC event.
