Retired Indian legend Kapil Dev has backed the hosts England to win the ICC Champions Trophy which begins on June 1. The world cup winning skipper said, “For the first time in 40 years, England have given me the impression that they are producing players for one-day cricket. They have a ruthless approach.” Further, he added that players like Joe Root, Eoin Morgan, Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler and Jason Roy who could win matches on their own. “If I look at the Indian team on paper, it looks fantastic. My heart says yes, but my cricketing brain says no,” he added.
