IS leader al-Baghdadi killed in airstrike, claims Russia

According to a report by Reuters, Russia’s defence authorities have claimed that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the de facto leader of ISIL, could have been assassinated in an airstrike that was carried out by the country in the Syrian city of Raqqa is close to 100%. "The fact that Islamic State has still not shown him anywhere also adds to our confidence," added Russia’s defence spokesperson.
