According to reports, India has the highest GST rate with the maximum GST rate slab of 28% among more than 140 countries across the world that have implemented GST. Argentina has the second-highest GST rate of 27%, whereas the rate stands at 20% in the UK, 20% in France and 7% in Singapore. Indian GST tax slabs are 0%, 5%, 12%, 18% and 28%.
