India to permit internet on flights by August: Report

According to reports, the government is likely to give its nod to in-flight Internet by August-end as the Directorate General of Civil Aviation is awaiting clearance from the Department of Telecommunications. Around 70 carriers across the world offer in-flight internet, allowing passengers to access email, live stream, social media, download movies and even make calls.
