Yogi orders ‘grand’ Janmashtami celebration while UP mourns Gorakhpur deaths

While Uttar Pradesh mourns the deaths of over 65 children in Gorakhpur hospital, the state CM Yogi Adityanath has reportedly directed preparations for a “grand Krishna Janmashtami celebration” with “Indian traditions”. Adityanath, in a communique issued to Director General of Police Sulkhan Singh on Sunday, reportedly said, “Krishna Janmashtami is an important festival and the police should organise it in a traditional and grand way.”
