Violence after godman’s conviction: Rajnath speaks to Punjab, Haryana CMs

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday reportedly spoke to Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh and his counterpart in Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar about the situation in both the states following the violence. Reportedly Rajnath rushed to Home Ministry to discuss the situation with officials. At least 12 have been killed, and more than 100 have been injured after a violence erupted in both the states after Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh was convicted of raping two women followers in 2002, say reports.
