Theatre owned by Daggubati catches fire due to short circuit in Chirala

Suresh mahal movie theatre burnt down in Chirala due to short circuits in the building. The theatre was kept closed for renovation. The theatre is owned by veteran producer Suresh Babu Daggubati, who is actor Rana Daggubati's father. The District fire office mentioned that their timely response saved products worth Rs 1 crore. But their new projector worth 40 lakh and nearly 400 newly decorated seats were gutted. Media reports suggests that Rana wanted to release his movie Nene Raju Nene Mantri today in his theatre after reopening.
