While landing at Calicut International Airport in Karipur on Friday, a SpiceJet flight with nearly 70 passengers on board skidded off the runway, airport officials reportedly said. No passengers were injured during the incident, which occurred during heavy rains. A few of the guiding lights on the runway were damaged as the aircraft swerved slightly to the left.
