At least 17 people were killed and 22 survivors were pulled out of debris after a residential building in Mumbai’s Ghatkopar collapsed. Police have reportedly arrested Sunil Shitap, a Shiv Sena man, who was allegedly carrying out an illegal renovation work in his nursing home located on the ground floor. The 40-year-old building was home to at least 12 families, say police.
