According to reports, a 21-year-old photography student was killed and his friend was left with an injured leg after a motorist mowed them on a bike on Sunday following a tiff over smoking in public in south Delhi. While Gurpreet Singh succumbed to head injuries on Wednesday, his friend Maninder Singh is bound to a wheelchair after a surgery on his leg. The accused, Rohit Kumar Mahanta, who was allegedly drunk, allegedly blew smoke at them at an eatery leading to an argument. He was arrested by police on Wednesday, say reports.
