Locked in car for 9 hours, 2 children die of suffocation in Delhi

Two boys, 5-year-old Sonu and 6-year-old Raj, died of suffocation on Wednesday after being locked in a car for almost 9 hours, say reports. The incident happened in a cab owned by the father of one of the boys in the Ranhaula area in outer Delhi. The cab owner Raju is a cab driver, and allegedly went to his room to sleep without locking the car in the afternoon. Later realizing that the car isn’t locked, he remote-locked it using his key. Meanwhile, the boys playing in the car were trapped. The parents and police initially suspected the boys were kidnapped. However, later they found the boys in the car and rushed them to hospital in vain.
