According to reports, the death toll raised to 89 on Saturday in the recent Assam floods. A fresh wave of floods in Assam has affected 3.55 lakh people in 15 districts and Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal had called for intensifying rescue operations. ASDMA added that 1,752 villages are currently under water.
