Following the record rainfall in Bengaluru on Wednesday, a five-storey building which completed construction a week ago dangerously tilted on the narrow lanes of Ejipura. The people from the nearby buildings were evacuated by the fire force.The building was illegally constructed as the permission was granted only for two floors and the base pillar could not withstand the support of five floors. The building owner Ramesh was to let the house for rent after housewarming who is now missing. A case has been registered against the owner and the contractor and also they have requested the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike to demolish the building.
