The Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru, in partnership with Thumby Aviation Private Limited, will reportedly soon have India's first helicopter-taxi service. According to reports, the HeliTaxi service would ensure quick and seamless transfers to and from airports, Civil Aviation Minister Jayant Sinha said. Notably, two helicopters have been designated for the purpose with plans to commission more when the demand increases.
