55 infants die in Nashik hospital, lack of oxygen

Reportedly 55 infants die due to lack of oxygen cylinder and ventilators in Nashik Civil hospital in one month. According to media reports, the hospital denied the cause of medical negligence when an MLA of the area pointed out adequate facilities. A report states that four babies were kept in one incubator which caused infections and lack of breathing space. Totally 167 infants died in two months in hospitals due to lack of Oxygen in three different cities.
