Pujara, with 861 rating points, is only behind Australia skipper Steve Smith. Notably, Pujara knocked a 525-ball 202 in the third Test against Australia in Ranchi preventing his side from going for another loss in the ongoing series. England's Joe Root has taken the third spot.
