The Income Tax Department has the powers to seize undisclosed money even from bank accounts not owned by a person being probed, the Delhi High Court has ruled.The court said the tax department can do this as long as it is satisfied the money belongs to that person. The bench explained, saying that a person can have undisclosed money “in someone else's account” as well.
