Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who met Israeli President Reuven Rivlin on Wednesday, reportedly said, “I for I, India for Israel and Israel for India.” PM Modi tweeted a photo and said, “The President of Israel welcomed me so warmly, he broke protocol. This is a mark of respect for the people of India.” Notably, Rivlin broke protocol to receive PM Modi, and said, “he is welcome to the State of Israel in the capital city of Jerusalem.”
