The Ministry of Railways on Wednesday announced that it will unveil its long-awaited new reservation system called 'Vikalp' on April 1. Under the Vikalp scheme, Indian Railways is planning to reduce the number of vacant berths in the trains. The wait-listed passengers can avail the opportunity of opting for other trains using this scheme.
