Google stops support for Android Market on Android 2.1 devices

American technology giant Google has reportedly stopped support for its digital distribution service Android Market on the devices running Android 2.1 OS or lower. According to reports, the users of these devices will not be getting access to the Android Market, announced Google. Notably, Android Market was launched in 2008 and was later combined with Google Music and eBookstore as a single app, named Google Play.
