Google officially kills ‘Google Talk’

Google on Monday reportedly ended its support for its chat service Google Talk, also known as Gchat. According to reports, Google has asked all the GChat users to start using its Hangouts service. Notably, GChat was launched in August 2005 as a means of communication between Gmail users. However, Google has already started sidelining Google Talk since 2013 with the introduction of its Hangouts service.
