California-based NBA side Golden State Warriors defeated Cleveland Cavaliers 129-120 in the fifth playoff game to become NBA Champions on Tuesday. Warriors won the seven-match playoffs 4-1 to win the championship for the fifth time. Kevin Durant, playing his first season as a Warrior, was named the Finals' Most Valuable Player. Notably, this was the first-ever instance in NBA history that the same teams reached Finals for three straight seasons.
