North Korea cancels beer festival due to drought

North Korea reportedly canceled a beer festival due to a severe drought in the country. The Taedong River Beer Festival was scheduled to take place from July 26 until the end of August. “The reason for the cancellation is unclear and we don’t expect full information to be forthcoming but it is possibly down to the ongoing drought in the country that has caused a great deal of trouble”, a leading travel agency said in a statement.
