West Bengal police with the assistance of Tamil Nadu police reportedly arrested Justice (retd) C S Karnan from an apartment near Coimbatore on Tuesday. Notably, CS Karnan had been absconding from May 9 as a last ditch attempt to evade an arrest. Supreme Court had earlier sentenced him to a six-month term of imprisonment for contempt of court offence.
