The Kochi Metro made it to the headlines for hiring 23 transgender people. Now, eight of them have quit their jobs within one week of the Metro's launch. Notably, lack of accommodation has been cited as the reason behind this mass resignation. The Kochi Metro employees have also written to the city mayor for help, but to no avail.
