The Election Commission on Friday reportedly announced June 16 as the deadline for the rival factions of AIADMK to submit documents over the use of the party's poll symbol, the two leaves. Notably, both the factions on last month petitioned to the election commission seeking allocation of the party symbol. However, the camps are currently looking to set for a merger following the ousting of the party's deputy general secretary TTV Dhinakaran.
