DMK urges State to pass resolution against slaughter ban

DMK party has reportedly urged the Tamil Nadu government to pass a resolution against the Centre’s ban on the sale of cattle for slaughter. According to reports, the party is also set to move a private member's resolution against the Centre’s move in the Assembly on Wednesday. Notably, Kerala and Meghalaya governments had earlier passed resolutions against cattle slaughter ban.
