DIG Roopa who alleged VIP treatment to Sasikala transferred

The Karnataka government has reportedly transferred Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Prisons D Roopa, who alleged that AIADMK leader VK Sasikala paid a bribe of Rs 2 crore to get special treatment in jail, to the Bengaluru Traffic Police. Further Director General of Prisons HN Sathyanarayana Rao, a senior prison official accused of accepting the bribe, has also been transferred, say reports.
