A report by UN Economic and Social Survey of Asia and the Pacific 2017 has reportedly found limitations of demonetization made by India. According to reports, the report revealed that demonetization alone was insufficient in stopping the generation of black money. The report also advised the Indian government to enact the reformations in the real estate registration process to curb the black money.
