British Parliament hit by cyber attack

According to reports, Britain's parliament was hit by a "sustained and determined" cyber attack on Saturday. The attack was reportedly designed to identify weak email passwords. Notably, this attack comes just over a month after the ‘infamous’ ransomware attack. As a precautionary method, the lawmakers have been temporarily restricted from accessing their email accounts outside of Westminster. However, the House of Commons has announced that it is confident that it had protected all accounts and systems from the attack.
