The Thanjavur District Principal Session Court on Tuesday reportedly dismissed the bail petition of those arrested in connection with the protests in Kathiramangalam village of the district. The court dismissed the plea stating that the government has incurred a loss of Rs 3 lakh due to the protests and the peace has hot returned to the village. The villagers and activists involved in protests after they found leak in an ONGC pipeline on Friday.
