Video clip of Tamil Nadu police raining blows on anti-liquor protesters, mostly women, has gone viral on social media. According to reports, the incident happened near Ambur in Vellore district on Friday. The protesters were reportedly conducting a 'mock funeral procession' against the presence of a liquor shop in their locality. Notably, the police had also arrested eleven people.
