According to reports, a Sub-Inspector in Rampur has been accused of seeking sexual favours from a 37-year-old rape survivor as an exchange for taking action against the accused who gang raped her at gunpoint. The victim revealed the cop, Jai Prakash Singh pressurised her to have sex with him and went on to the extent of calling and inviting her to visit his room alone. Notably, the incident came to light after Jai Prakash allegedly filed the closure report when the 37-year-old rape survivor denied his requests.
