The Chennai Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum had reportedly slapped a penalty of Rs 15,000 on the Pepsico India Pvt Ltd. According to reports, the fine was imposed for supplying a soft drink with dead insects floating in the bottle. Notably, the fine amount was given as a verdict on the case filed by P Thalapathy from Aminjikarai.
