A special court in Delhi reportedly convicted former coal secretary H C Gupta on Friday. According to reports, Gupta was found guilty in the case alleging irregularities in allocation of a coal block in Madhya Pradesh. Along with him, the coal ministry's then joint secretary K S Kropha, and then director K C Samaria were also convicted. The court is expected to pronounce the verdict on May 22.
