China ‘breaches’ Indian airspace

According to reports, two helicopters belonging to the People's Liberation Army of China breached the Indian airspace over Chamoli district, Uttarakhand on Saturday morning. The Indian Air Force has identified the choppers as Zhiba series of attack helicopters. The agency suspects that the choppers were possibly on a reconnaissance mission to carry out an aerial photography of Indian ground troops in the Badahoti area. Notably, this is the fourth incursion by China in 2017.
