Handloom second in employment after agriculture in TN

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister E.K. Palaniswami on the Third National Handloom day, mentioned that the weavers cooperative industry of TamilNadu has benefited a lot from the welfare measures given to them by the late Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa. He said that handloom is second in giving employment next to agriculture and the government of Tamil Nadu is formulating a new integrated textile policy.
