A 61-year-old Japanese national was attacked and robbed of his iPhone at the SIPCOT industrial estate in Irungattukottai on the outskirts of Chennai when he was on a stroll on Saturday. The perpetrators, two men on a bike, inflicted a deep cut to a hand of the victim identified as Kuwaoko. The man is a director of a joint venture firm Sankar JP Sealing Technologies Private Limited and is recovering at a private hospital. The police are on a hunt for the man.
