A study by Help Age India has revealed that Chennai people are kinder to elderly in public spaces than people in most other cities in the country. In contrast, more than 70% of elders in Bengaluru have admitted of having experienced abuse and ill-treatment in public spaces. Notably, Help Age India conducted the survey on 19 important cities in India.
