Chennai cylinder blast: one dead, 48 injured

One person was killed, and 48 others were injured in Chennai after a fire broke out at a bakery in Kodungaiyur area. A cylinder reportedly exploded after the firefighters rushed to the spot to douse the initial fire. One of the injured firemen, Egaraj, was rushed to hospital and succumbed to his injuries. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami visited the injured at the Kilpauk Medical College Hospital.
