Two unidentified bike-borne men on Saturday reportedly shot at a newly married couple from Chennai, Aditya Kumar and Vijaya Lakshmi, on National Highway 58 in Muzaffarnagar when they returning from Haridwar to Delhi on a bike to to fly back home after having been on a vacation. The couple suffered injuries after falling from bike. A friend named Shyam Teja, who accompanied the couple in another bike, informed the police about the incident. Police said, “Prima facie it seems to be a case of mistaken identity,” adding the probe is on.
