On Monday, Westside removed an entire line section in all its stores because the design hurts Jain sentiments. The Kurti's were designed with Mantras on the front and were available in different colours. Reportedly, Dharmesh Jhaveri, a diamond trader demanded an apology from TATA as he did not expect this kind of behavior from him. Reacting to that TATA Westside immediately wrote an official apology mail and allegedly said that the company would withdraw the particular cloth line.
