Following the strike by transport corporation trade unions on Monday, the State government reportedly instructed the private operators to bring their buses to the nearest bus stands for operation on regular bus routes. Large numbers of mofussil buses, including the spare vehicles, schools and college buses reportedly joined the public transport service.
