The BJP leaders in Meghalaya who quit to register their protest against the Centre's ban on cattle sale for slaughter in animal markets are set to hold a beef festival on Saturday evening. Nearly 5,000 cadres from the Garo hills have also quit the BJP in the last few days to protest against the same.
